Bending vibrations

The Bending vibration application will check a non-rotating shaft line for lateral (natural) vibrations while the shaft line is excited by other rotating equipment . Free (undamped) vibration calculations are available in this application.

Advantages:

• The vibration model can be extracted directly from the Base Model.
• Automatic estimation for the diametric inertia of components such as propellers, gear wheels or flanges.
• Automatic estimation for 'entrained water properties' of the propeller.
• All results of the calculation are graphically summarized in a Campbell Diagram.
